India is at the doorstep of progress. Today, Indians have progressed so much, that their talent has resulted in tremendous growth in the fields of Science, Mathematics, Agriculture, Medicine, Computers, Internet and many more.
But it’s a great pity that only the affluence and urbanized students having all the educational facilities benefits from the new development taking place in the country, whereas the rural India remain limited to farming. New techniques, curriculum, thinking, radical changes in the field of communication, modern changes in education system, new machines etc. are all out of reach of rural India.
And so, large number of village students remain backward due to lack of information and knowledge and on the other side disoriented and misguided students turn towards cities to get higher education but in return find themselves disgruntled and hopeless.
Morarka Foundation, known to bring forward the rural India, has made a contract with an institution in Mumbai, which provides online education for students preparing for engineering exams. Morarka Foundation has tried to bring this amazing technique of online education to rural areas in order to enhance the skills of rural students.
This is a simple, latest and well equipped educational technology with modern curriculum, in which students from rural areas would not have to go to big institutions in city and pay huge fees.
They can now study from home or at school level, just by spending some time on internet and computer. By doing this they can get same benefits, they would get by going to other expensive and big institutions in big cities. Morarka Foundation has started this as an experimental project in Berri Village of Sikar district. The school chosen for this project is Career Sr. Sec. School. Students from villages in Shekhawati and nearby regions can become a part of this project. This is a challenging task and challenges make our determination more strong.
Foundation has taken all steps to implement this important project and have decided to motivate more and more students to go in fields like engineering through this educational technique and strengthen the role of rural regions in the development and progress of modern India.
